How will they hear?

Who will go?

Whom shall we send?

Who we are

Vision and Mission

Vision

South Africa – a fountain that blesses the world with the Love and Good News of Jesus Christ.

Mission

SAAWE glorifies the Triune God by mobilizing the Church in South Africa, as well as around the world, to make Disciples of Christ from all nations and peoples.

Fruit

Hundreds of local churches have been exposed through SAAWE to the need of people who have not yet heard that Jesus loves them, and many became actively involved in making a difference to this situation.

More than a thousand South Africans have become missionaries after using SAAWE’s services. Some of them are leaders of mission organisations today.

A number of partnerships and networks, focused on specific People groups, were formed with the help of SAAWE.

History

After many years of world mission, Mr. Francis Grim, the founder of SAAWE, is deeply concerned about the millions that have not yet been reached with the Gospel. During 1976, Mr. Grim put this challenge in writing in the booklet “An Ideology for South Africa”. This booklet has sown the vision of world evangelism among the Christian population of South Africa. SAAWE was established on 18 November 1976.

SAAWE workers and management members have been to about 100 countries.
